Goals

The Statesville news editor (who is also a good friend of mine) said you can tell a lot about an applicant by asking where they want to be in 5 or 10 years.

I'm not applying for anything, but for the sake of my dear blog readers, here are my 5 and 10 year goals. Now that I'm married, I realize some of these should probably match up with Brad's 5 and 10 year goals. But, this is my blog and when 5 and 10 years come along we'll talk about them. (Haha, I'm only half kidding, Brad.)

IN FIVE YEARS...
...I will be 30 years old.
...I want to have a stable, well-paying job in North Carolina. It could be in media, instruction or event planning.
...I want to own a home. Not necessarily our first home, but a quality home.
...I want to start having children.
...I want to be able to run a full mile ... outside ... in the summer.

IN TEN YEARS...
...I will be 35 years old.
...I want to be able to devote time to our children. To help with homework, be a soccer mom, to join the PTA.
...I want to have a healthy nest egg established and start on a college fund.
...I want to go to Disney World.
...I want to be the same size that I am today.
...I want to be college loan free.

So that's where I want to be. I guess if I were an applicant, someone would say that I'm focused on a family and financial security. There you have it, looks like I'm normal!
